About Our Station
The New Plymouth Fire Protection District's mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for all citizens and visitors from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies. The goal is to provide a protection program through a cost-efficient approach to emergency response, fire code application and public fire education.
Coverage Area
New Plymouth Fire Protection District isn’t limited just to the city itself, we are a Fire Protection District covering roughly 186 square miles of both the city and surrounding rural Payette county communities, providing fire, rescue, EMS, and hazard response across that area. Including major travel routes like I-84, Hwy 95, Hwy 30 west, Hwy 30 south, Hwy 72, Hwy 52, Sand hollow Rd and BLM land.

2022 Silverado with Custom slide out
Set up for day-to-day district operations. First due out for fires and large-scale emergencies to establish command and support. Holds extra radios and basic first aid including AED.

2013 F250 with Slide out
BLS unit for medicals inside the district as well as on call duty officer vehicle. Also responds to all tech rescue calls in the county with side by side hooked to it. Holds BLS gear including jump bag, AED, Backboard, Oxygen

2018 Suburban with custom slide out
Basic life support for all calls inside the district from medicals, motor vehicle accidents, and standby on large scale fires. Holds AED, Oxygen, Lucas device, backboards jump bags.

2018 Pierce commercial pumper, 1000 gal tank, seats 4 people
First due out on all structure and hazmat calls inside the district.

2002 Pierce freightliner pumper,1000 gal tank, seats 5 people
Responds to all car fires inside the district and back up extrication. Second due out on all structure fires and first due on all mutual aid requests to neighboring departments

Responds to all structure fires in the district for water supply and mutual aid calls.

Responds to all car accidents and technical rescue calls in district. Holds battery powered extrication tools, jump bag and tech rescue equipment

2002 International 800-gal tank seats 5 people
Second due out on all brush calls in the district and responds to all mutual calls .

First due out on all brush calls in the district.

2001 Freightliner 1500-gal tank with folding tank
First due out on water supply for all brush calls and mutual aid brush calls, back up water supply for structure fires.

2016 Polaris ranger with slip tank and patient transport.
Responds to all tech rescue calls and searches in county and helps suppress brush fires in remote areas.
