Are you ready to make a real impact in your community? The New Plymouth Fire Protection District is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of volunteer firefighters and emergency responders. Whether you’re looking to serve your neighbors, gain valuable training, or be part of a team that saves lives—you belong here.

We welcome applications from all community members who are:

  • At least 18 years old

  • Physically able to perform firefighting duties

  • Willing to commit time for training, response, and community outreach

  • Team players with a strong sense of duty and integrity
    (Background checks and medical evaluations may be required.)

Volunteering is flexible. Whether you’re available days, nights, or weekends, we’ll work with your schedule. Most volunteers respond to calls in their own neighborhoods and participate in monthly drills and ongoing training.
